VISTAPRINT EXPANDS EUROPEAN PRINTING AND DISTRIBUTION PLANT

The newly expanded plant measures 13,000 square meters and is expected to employ 300 people by the end of 2008.

VistaPrint’s Venlo plant is responsible for the printing and distribution of orders throughout Europe and the Pacific Rim, which on a daily basis numbers in the thousands and range from business cards and postcards to self-inking stamps and T-Shirts. This plant expansion will enable VistaPrint to continue to service its growing customer base through a state-of-the-art automated manufacturing and distribution center. Worldwide, VistaPrint receives an average of 30,000 orders per day from its 19 websites and ships to more than 120 countries around the globe.

VistaPrint is celebrating its expansion with a grand re-opening celebration on April 11th at 5 pm. The festivities will include speeches by VistaPrint's President and CEO Robert Keane, plant manager Bert Driessen as well as Commissioner of the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency (NFIA), Bas Pulles, who will be speaking on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. A representative from the Venlo City Council will be speaking as well. Food and music will be offered.
