VISTAPRINT AWARDED THREE NEW PATENTS

Latest Award Brings Total U.S. Patent Count to Sixteen

In total, VistaPrint now holds 16 U.S. patents. The company also holds patents in other countries and has more than 40 pending patent applications world-wide.

Patent 7,322,007 covers a method for automatically generating and displaying multiple product templates under user control for user review. The patent describes controls that enable users to, for example, keep the layout of a template constant while viewing that layout with different design features or keep the design features of a template constant while viewing those design features in different layouts.

Patent 7,339,598 covers a method for automatically selecting an image and automatically combining the selected image with a layout, color scheme and fonts to create a product template for displaying to a user. Patent 7,340,673 covers a method for providing enhanced text editing capabilities in a browser document.
