VISTAPRINT JUMPS 27 PLACES ON THE BOSTON GLOBE’S 100 TOP PLACES TO WORK LIST

Personalized Products Provider Ranks 47 in List’s Second Year

Vistaprint, USA Incorporated, a wholly owned subsidiary of Vistaprint N.V. (Nasdaq: VPRT), the company that provides high-impact personalized products and services for small businesses and the home, today announced that Vistaprint has been named one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts in the second annual employee-based survey project from The Boston Globe. The company ranked number 47 on the list, up 27 positions from a year ago.

“As a company, Vistaprint is honored to be listed among the top employers in Massachusetts for the second consecutive year,” said Vistaprint North America President, Wendy Cebula. “It shows the company’s commitment to expanding and growing our world-class business institution is paying off. Our employees are some of the best in their chosen fields, from technology and engineering to recruiting and marketing.

Receiving an award like this shows that the investments we have made in developing and rewarding our talent are not going unnoticed.”

Produced by the same team that compiles the 22-year-old Globe 100 report of the best-performing public companies in Massachusetts, the Top Places to Work recognizes the most progressive companies in the state based on employee opinions about company leadership, compensation and training, diversity/inclusion, career development, family-friendly flexibility, and values and ethics. Private companies and nonprofits as well as publicly-held businesses were included in the analysis.

The rankings in the Globe 100’s Top Places to Work are based on survey information collected by Workplace Dynamics, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention, from 86,000 employees at 269 Massachusettsorganizations. This marks the second year that a Globe 100 report has honored private as well as publicly-held organizations.

The publisher of The Boston Globe Steve Ainsley stated, “The companies included in the Globe 100’s Top Places to Work have succeeded in creating a positive workplace for their employees in the midst of the uncertainties of the general economy. I congratulate each of them for an outstanding accomplishment.”

Vistaprint offers customers convenience by providing products they can hold confidence in. Products include high-quality and low-cost printed products such as checks, return address labels, postcards, and Christmas cards; promotional apparel including hats and T-shirt; and marketing services such as websites, copywriting, email marketing, design and postcard mailing. Ordering products from Vistaprint is easy; customers just go online, 24 hours a day, design their products and order with the click of a mouse. Most products can be designed, ordered and received in as little as three business days.

To qualify for the Globe 100’s Top Places to Work, a company must have more than 100 employees in Massachusetts. Nearly 1,000 qualified companies accepted an invitation to participate. Rankings were composite scores calculated purely on the basis of employee responses.
