VISTAPRINT AND TOYS FOR TOTS ANNOUNCE COLORING

Children’s Designs to Be Featured on Holiday Cards for Upcoming 2009 Campaign

Following on the heels of last season’s successful holiday card campaign, today VistaPrint Limited (Nasdaq:VPRT) and the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation announced the launch of a unique holiday card coloring project designed to give less fortunate kids in a number of organizations nationwide the chance to express what the holiday season means to them through drawing and writing.

A number of local organizations will participate in the coloring project, which will give local kids the chance to put their love of the holidays down on paper. They can do so either by drawing a picture or writing a short paragraph describing what makes the holidays special to them. The best designs and writing submissions will be chosen to be used in a larger holiday card campaign between the two companies during the upcoming holiday season. A few lucky designs will be featured on holiday cards co-branded with VistaPrint and Toys for Tots as part of a larger gallery of offerings.

“Our holiday card campaign last year was a big success, but we wanted to give the kids who are less fortunate a chance to express themselves and for a lucky few, get their designs showcased on a holiday card,” said VistaPrint Chief Marketing Officer for North America, Trynka Shineman. “I’m sure that the kids are going to throw themselves into this project and show what getting a special toy during the holidays meant to them. We’re very excited to see what they come up with.”

VistaPrint and Toys for Tots will be working with the Carrie Steele–Pitts Home in Atlanta Ga., the Wade Center in Bluefield, W.Va., and Clinch Valley Community Action in Tazewell, Va. All are local organizations dedicated to helping less fortunate children throughout the year to get the resources they need. The organizations that participate will be given a discount on products they might need through VistaPrint, and the children whose drawings are chosen to be featured on the cards will be given special prizes.

“This just made sense to us on a number of levels. We wanted to get the kids involved, and we know that they are going to come through with some great drawings,” said Major Bill Grein, USMC (Ret.), vice president of marketing for the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. “So many of them are creatively talented and love to take part in projects like this. Last year we raised almost $47,000 collectively with VistaPrint, so we wanted to expand the number of cards to include kids’ design. We thought that this would be a great opportunity to give a few of them the thrill of having their design on a holiday card, one that anyone could buy online.”

The project will run through the month of May at the local centers. All of the holiday cards, including those designed by the children, will be available during the 2009 holiday season on the VistaPrint Website, with a portion of the proceeds from the sales going to the Toys for Tots charity.

The objectives of the Foundation are the same as those of the overall Toys for Tots program: to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas; to play an active role in the development of one of our nation’s most valuable resources – our children; to unite all members of local communities in a common cause for two months each year during the annual toy collection and distribution campaign; and to contribute to improving communities in the future.
