VistaPrint IT Project Awarded Best in Class

VistaPrint Limited (Nasdaq:VPRT), the leading online supplier of high-quality graphic design services and customized printed products to small businesses and consumers, today announced that it received two prestigious awards from Computerworld. VistaPrint’s Chief Operating Officer Wendy Cebula was named one of the Premier 100 IT Leaders of 2008 and VistaPrint was awarded the “Best in Class” award. The awards were announced during the Premier 100 IT Leaders Conference, which took place March 9-11, 2008.

Over 1,000 applicants submitted entries for the 2008 Premier 100 IT Leaders. Finalists were required to answer questions covering everything from their career accomplishments to mentoring activities. Computerworld’s panel of judges then selected the top 100 candidates who were able to guide their staff and entire company to effectively use information technology. The “Best in Class” is awarded to the top 10 projects which were best able to use IT to benefit the company or organization and is selected from the Premier 100 list.

“VistaPrint was built on innovation and finding efficient ways to use technology, so I try to take that approach with every problem we are presented with,” says Wendy Cebula. “I’m honored just to have been nominated for this award and also to be able to gain recognition for VistaPrint’s ground-breaking use of information technology.”

Cebula led VistaPrint’s move to virtual servers as well as a location change for their data center, which will result in a savings of $450,000 over three years.
