Vistaprint N.V. (Nasdaq: VPRT), a leading online provider of professional marketing products and services to micro businesses and the home, today announced that it has launched the “Vistaprint Design Challenge.” This challenge is open to the entire graphic design community and will award cash payments for the high-quality business card and T-shirt designs that Vistaprint selects. Entrants who submit designs for use on Vistaprint’s websites will be paid $250 (all dollar values stated in USD) for each selected business card design and $150 for each selected T-shirt design. The selected designs will also be eligible for larger cash prizes at the conclusion of the challenge.
“There are countless creative ideas out there in the design community,” said Jennifer Hood, senior manager of content strategy at Vistaprint. “We’re excited to offer payments and prizes to designers for contributing designs to Vistaprint. We know that the more quality designs we offer, the happier our customers will be. We’re confident that the Design Challenge will provide a benefit to the design community as well.”
The design submission process is straightforward. Entrants simply design their artwork using their favorite design program, then upload their files to www.vistaprint.com/designchallenge and add customizable text fields using the Vistaprint Studio. All submissions to the Vistaprint Design Challenge will be judged by the company’s design challenge team. Entrants will receive an email notification alerting them if their design has been selected or rejected. VISTAPRINT EXPANDS GLOBAL PRESENCE INTO AUSTRALIA
Vistaprint N.V. (Nasdaq: VPRT), a leading online provider of professional marketing products and services to micro businesses, today announced the creation of the company’s Asia-Pacific business unit. This business unit consists of a manufacturing facility in Deer Park, Australia and a marketing office in Sydney, and is Vistaprint’s first physical presence in the Asia-Pacific region.

This new business unit allows Vistaprint to improve service to its existing customer base in the region with quicker shipping times. Vistaprint’s Asia-Pacific business unit will operate in a manner similar to the company’s European and North American business units and will coordinate regional manufacturing and marketing efforts. The new manufacturing facility uses all of the cutting-edge technologies and state-of-the-art processes that have made Vistaprint a leader in the online printing and promotional products space and provides dedicated manufacturing support to Vistaprint’s existing markets in the Asia-Pacific region. Previously these markets were served by the company’s European manufacturing facility in Venlo, the Netherlands. Vistaprint’s North American markets will continue to be served by its manufacturing facility in Windsor, Ontario. The Sydney office will coordinate Vistaprint’s marketing efforts for the Australian, New Zealand and Japanese regions. The company currently has established localized websites for all three markets.
